TIPS AND TRICKS

Tip #1 : In the event of addition of excess salt in any dish, try adding 1 medium sized boiled and mashed potato to reduce the salt. This can be added to a wet gravy dish. If it is a dry curry try adding besan/ gram flour.

Tip #2 : If you are cooking greens, add red chillies to give it a spice. Do not add green chillies because we cannot fish out the green chillies from the huge amount of greens in the dish. Red chillies are easily visible in green dishes..

Tip #3After chopping / slicing bitter gourd put them in a bowl of water in which we have added one tbsp of curd to remove excessive bitterness. This helps people who cannot tolerate much of the bitterness of the bitter gourd.
